  • Saturday: 8:30 AM (only on first Saturday of the month)

To maintain a reserve fund for out-of-the-ordinary health needs of diocesan priests not covered by health insurance.

To help needy, sick and hungry overseas; support the administration and works of the Holy Father; support work of sacred shrines and Church in the Holy Land.

To evangelize through TV, radio, internet and other media to spread the Gospel, and to fund academic scholarships and continuing education of priests of the diocese at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

Diocesan Mission Collection

To support diocesan mission projects and efforts in Peru, India, and Africa. In lieu of additional second collections, funds collected in this appeal also supports national mission projects and efforts in Latin America, Africa, Central & Eastern Europe, Catholic Near East Welfare Association and Society of the Propagation of the Faith.

To form and educate diocesan seminarians (candidates for priesthood) and clergy and to provide for the retirement needs of retired diocesan priests who offered their lives in priestly ministry and service.
